Most years, our City Manager is at the race.

 City Manager Tom Carrino hung out with us the whole day for the 2023 race!

Lake County is huge.   The county is home to over 1,000 named lakes sprinkling the county with sparkling waterfront from the shores of Leesburg and Tavares to lakefront parks of Clermont. The Lakefront Lifestyle is one of the most sought-after in all of Florida.

Our City Commissioners have been known to get down and dirty!  Here, Commissioner Willie Hawkins is coming into the Finish Line.

Every year our Mayor, Michael Holland, is at our Starting Line, and has been even in the years when he was not the Mayor. For 2023, Mayor Holland was at the challenge at Crafted Scent Bar, welcoming our racers!

Each year we apply for  a City of Eustis Grant. So far, since 2015, we have received the grant every year. YAY!

Chief Capri was a volunteer for 2022.

We typically do challenges at the fire stations every year.  They are consistently some of the favorites!  The Fire Chief, Mike Swanson, and his family, always runs in the race, too!
